Hi Guys whats the exchange rate against the pound out there in england I have been offered from 1.99 to 2.09? thanks in advanvce also is there any advantage taking Euro.

I was getting 2.20lv to the pound 3 weeks ago, dont think theres been much change but others may be more up to date. Always has been best to take unmarked sterling notes. Or you can use a UK card to draw cash at bulgarian ATM machines.

i cant remember the where there was a bureau de change in boro, but know where the cash point is.

sancho - was that 2.17 to the £ at the atm?

The best to change money in boro is at the bank next to to Flora hotel 1 euro= 1,95 Leva

In Samokov town it was 2.23 on Monday - depending on how much money you are getting out, it may be worth the taxi trip. Smile
