The 2.17 I got last week was from one of the booths on the main street between the Rila and the Samokov

Do they charge commision... 2.20 sounds like a very good exchange rate. I can get 2Levs to the £ without any commision in England (executive rate apparently!). Any advice would be great?

I didnt pay any commision, rates always seem to be better in Bulgaria, i think its due to the sterling being a strong currency in Bulgaria.
