When to go in 2008

Hi

If you had a choice between early March, poss covering half term week and going mid march, what would you do?
Are the snow conditions still good in mid march (going on previous years as this one was pretty freaky)? We've previously gone early Feb & late Feb so unsure what its like in March.

Who's to know. We struggle to predict the following days weather let alone a month or even a year in advance. Leavw it until nearer the time if you are unsure.

I don't expect anyone to say what the weather will be like next year, I was wondering what other people had experienced in previous years !!!

Always found end of feb beginning of march reliable

I was in Bansko the first week of February this year and snow was very good most days. No snow in the Village itself tho.

If you are able, avoid any dates that coincide with half time at all costs!

been the past 3 years around 15th -18th march ,this year borovets previous 2 pamps and the snow has been very good.

But you are asking about snow conditions which is connected to the weather! Very closely.

Went to Pamps the begining of March and the snow was rubbish , but then it snowed more at the end of march.

That was this year , was talking to people there and they said that the same week last year they had a meter of snow!!!!
