Where to stay?

We are going to borovets again this year and really undecided on where to stay. Have been looking at the Ela or iglika apartments anybody stayed at either of these? Or any other recommendations that are in the resort looked on quite a few sites and most of the good hotels are booked up on our dates. Thanks in advance for any help.

re: Where to stay?

I will have a look and see if there is anything else available as well. Out of the two options you have suggested, I would go for Iglika. I would also pay the 'supplement' to be in the new side which was built a few years ago. The rooms are much bigger and lighter.

re: Where to stay?

Would that be the hotel? As I did mean the apartments can't seem to find a room for 3 in the hotel all saying sold out. Thanks for your help.

Don't think we have ever been out the right week for these invasions Smile we only found out about bobbys bar on our last night last year and couldn't make it due to silly flight times. Will be making a visit this time round as have heard such good things. Booze

re: Where to stay?

Look at the thread for first timers. There's some info re Iglika on there. Hope that helps with decision making.

re: Where to stay?

Don't touch the Ella, worst hotel in Borovets I have ever stayed in over the last 12 years. Yanakiev is good but food is terrible, Breza was ok last time I stayed there but it was exclusive to Crystal then. Leave Lion and Bor alone as you need transport as its in the old village. Samakov and Rila food not great and hotels very big. Iglika is this years choice for us as Trip Advisor rated it very high. Olymph is top of the slope and again food poor.
