Where to visit?

Hello I'm going to Hotel Rila (ear plugs packed already!) at the end of January and I'd like to know if there are any 'must see' things to do, like ski-dooing, Sleigh rides etc. Also great places to eat.... can anyone help??

You can go ski-dooing but also try one nights night skiing in front of the Rila.... good fun!! Franco's is a great place for Pizza and stuff, the main street has places where you can get a good feed. There is a small restaurant behind the medical centre and next to where the taxi's park, can't remember the name of it but its where many of the instructors eat and the local food is just fab... especially the Kvarma!!!

Apart from that just get plastered in the buzz bar and 'live the dream'.

my spelling might not be accurate but its a speciality which is kind of like a stew, served in a terracota type cooking pot (individual) and is nothing sort of delicious!!

try the black tiger for a drink at night opposite the rila ,you will have a great time.

The restaraunt in the hotel alpin has a huge selection on the menu and the food is excellent. As in everywhere in Bulgaria it is cheap.

Everywhere!!! - We went last year had a fantastic time - Loads to eat, good skiing loads of bars - So good we are going back again in Jan.
