If you go abroad more than a couple of times a year, it's much better value to get an annual policy. We paid £107 for two adults worldwide including winter sports with Direct Line.

I got mine for me and the Mrs for £28 off the web, I just went on moneysupermarket and went from there, you can get really cheap deals, but they have bigger excess charges. To be honest, if you are a very good skier and aren't going to try anything silly, I would be tempted to go with one of the cheaper deals, but obviously its your preference. Oh and as mentioned above, can get good yearly plans if you are a bit of a jet setter!!! Very Happy

re: Which Insurer do you use

best thing is to go on money supermarket and search through what exactlly it is you need. i payed £86 annual insurance multi trips with world cover inc canada for me and my gf with 21 days of winter sports from club direct, some of the policies have only minimum winter sports cover( 7 days) so if you plan on going away a couple of times you need to check that out.

re: Which Insurer do you use

cheers all, I normally go on a few holidays a year so the annual policy sounds best.

I like to think im pretty good but i do silly things, so not sure about that one Smile

Im planning a trip to japan early next year to niseko so the annual one would cover that as well hopefully

Used the AA last year and had a valid claim. They used every trick in the book to avoid paying. Gave up in the end and claimed on my household insurance which sorted it straight away.
Definitely one to avoid.
