I really dont understand why the vast majority of people seem to be commenting and complaining that the standard of Bulgarian food is very poor???
Can we all take a step back and look at the state of our own 'british' food??? Come on now - staple diet of curries, kebabs, KFC, McD et al does not quite equate to culinary excellence by any standards now does it.

Bearing in mind that Bulgaria is a very poor country, the resorts are high up in snow covered mountains and the amount you actually pay for the food in resort, realistically the food is pretty damn acceptable.
If you can be bothered to get your a** out of the hotel and sample some of the proper restaurants i dont think you will be dissappointed.
Posts of regurgitated this and left over that - you know who you are and if you think that all food in the UK is 100% pure then the joke is on you.
If you were to get a BigMac in a Michelin Star retaurant you would complain?? Well why do you not complain when you get one in McDonalds???

Hi AlanIm just back from Pamps, food wasn't bad considering they are a poor country, t-bone steaks were great and only £5

Actually I'm not that fussy but loved the food there, I thought it was great. I love going elsewhere just to eat foreign food as such! I can't wait to get back and try other restaurants, yummy!Your right too McDonalds, EWW!!!

I'm just back from Bansko, thought the food in the local restaurants was really good and I'm a v.fussy eater.re: Why does everyone complain about the FOOD????

99% of us who have commented on the food have said that its edible and the breakfasts are fine, evening meals ok , restraunts good, food on the slopes good.

I compleatly agree Alan, although i have not been to boverts and I'am regualar visiter to bansko. All i hear on this website is people slaging of the food. I found if u seek out good food yea shall find. Some of the best food i've ever eatern has being in bansko. Although i agree that the food is sometimes served warmish this is there way and u just have to put up with it.

Mixu,none of the above but one of my pet hates is people who hide behind their computer screens, polluting very useful and educational forums such as this.
