Paul,

You will definately have snow on the top runs no matter what happens--- Bad snow conditions in Boro and the beginners will struggle BUT what a resort to get stuck in if there is no snow

Hi

There are 9 of us arriving on 28th (one of which is called Paul!) there are 6 first time skiers in the group and whilst we have been too Brovovets several times before never this early in the season. We are also therefore having a bit of a panic about whether or not there will be any snow?
I have looked at some web cam shots from the same week last year and it looks really good so we've got our fingers crossed that it will all start to fall in the next two weeks.

Helen, I reckon you've got it spot on. I'm a first timer & yeh am a bit worried about the lack of snow but I'm keeping faith in the people who've been before & they all seem pretty relaxed & confident that the snow will come. And if it doesn't - New year in a foriegn but friendly country? Sounds great to me! Plenty of new friends to be made & beer to be drunk! See you all there. Booze

No is the answer, there will not be good enough snow for you to ski. Next time check snow history.

Wise up Bow. You'll be able to ski. Just need a reasonable dump. I'm almost sure you'll be ok.

re: Will Borovets have snow for New Year?

Im pleased to see there are more voices being opptermistic! I did check the snow history and the last week in Dec 07 looked great last year but based on the lack of snow so far im assuming that there will be a big 'dump' in the next two weeks. Is that often what happens because when you look at the pictures from last year one week its all green and then the next its a white out and there are skiers everywhere?!
