tell the ski instructors bosses to stop the 'cancer'(unique to Bulgaria) practice of pulling tourists to specific bars and eating places,
tell the lift bosses as well to start making 2-3 new lifts from base and to get the traffic on the slopes better.
tell the investors to calm down and to start thinking very long term (20-30 years) if they want to succeed.
tell the people to start organising weekly programme with events during season specially geared towards clients ONLY (you should know that well if you have dropped- in from The western Apls from the past)
I can go for long with list of things which have to improve and Pronto..
As for the snow conditions elsewhere, when resort lists the start of season that has to be honoured and done very well and to the point.
the same goes into the last day (on the last day the runs should be done and groomed nobody closes the establishments early because there is nothing sadder than seing boarded up places)
Don't you think there is a lot to be desired before tourists initiate the tradition of coming back to BG .sometimes quite a lot has to be desired before anything else.
That goes to any BG resort I must say.
That's why I did not go to Bansko on my brief second visit this season and I don't think there is anything tempting to visit it in late season.
Borovets looks pretier compacter any month of the winter and summer as well and Pamporovo is pretty greener as well (if you choose the right place to stay in of course)

Plus the slopes were literally abandoned. Half of them were closed, many were not groomed and only few were properly prepared.

Start and end of season dates have to be honoured at any price, or nobody takes you seriously. It's one thing to extend the announced ending date, in case conditions are good, and another thing to close down whenever they want and without informing anybody in time.
Kalimera Korsos
I know it is a joke not to honour dates.
But this is reality in BG they rather save and close than loose money and the hell with the feelings or rights of the people booked or arrived to use the facilities.
It is easy to retain clients and bring him back than to try to find a new one out there in the jungle.
One mistake and The" done" client is out for good and will remember it for long what that place was and will be spreading the word around his friends so the ...

If 'they' can only realise what damage they are doing that way.cutting the branch they are standing.
