Xmas/New year

Off to Borovets for the first time on Boxing Day. A few questions:

- Will there be snow?
- Is the ski school good for kids? I can ski but my son can't.
- Can I get lift passes there and if so, how much and where from?
- Any useful Russian phrases?

re: Xmas/New year

There are the cannons so providing it's cold enough - yes there'll be snow

Ski school is fantastic for kids - they have less fear and are better than the adults

Lift passes are obtainable in resort but are twice the price than if you buy them in advance in the UK

Why do you want Russian - it's Bulgarian spoken in Bulgaria...

For the russian mafia. I was told they run the place.

Where is best to get the passes in the UK?

buy from the holiday operator you book your holiday with

I dont think they offer these packages in advance if you dont book your flights / accom with them

But it is. And it's carried on the back of four elephants standing in a pool of custard.
