Went to pamps for new yr and got taken out 3 times once on a blue by a snow boarder and twice on a green by skiers the second one ,the guy was flying i was lucky enough to brush him off but he went flying.
My question is this seeing that mostly beginers use the green runs would it be a good idea to police the runs and anyone deemed to be sking rekless get their skis taken off them until a fine is paid at the bottom of the slope.. now i realize that accidents happen but i see to many novice ...

As i will be one of the beginners in 2 weeks time , i am concerned that my virginity will be lost to one of these reckless skiers.I hope that consideration to all on the slopes is adhered to , we are all there to enjoy the thrill.
It sounds as if you're not so much a Tiger, more of a kitten.
These Green Blue and Red runs can be terrifying; that is, until you learn to ski, or if necessary, snowboard. In a couple of years you'll look back and laugh at the idea of fining someone for skiing fast. That's what we're all trying to do!
Missing the point dougie my control is not the issue here i ski fine fast and safe..The reason i was on the green's in the first place is to ski with my 7yr old daughter and some friends who were beginers... But in view of a skier being killed in a collision in bulgaria this season... Well what if it was my daughter or even your child would you be so candid then?
You're right. I am missing the point. There is some danger in skiing or any other outdoor activity, and let's hope we (and our children) all avoid injury. What was your point?
D
I think T.T's point is quite obvious. We are all at the mercy of others skiing within their own ablity, and also that of others. No point skiing like a mad-man on slopes designed to accomodate those ( including children ) of varying degrees of ability. If you want to kill yourself ,thats suicide, killing others - well i'll let you work it out.
Do you think it would be a good idea to police the green runs and anyone found sking reckless without a ski instructor have their skis taken away until a fine is paid at the bottom of the mountain? do u think that would make for safer skiing?
