Haven't been to Borovets for a few years and never heard of the Yanakiev before, but it looks like you've found a good one there Nige. Looks great and sounds like it's in a good position.
Needless to say there'll be loads of snow by end of Feb.
Plenty of family friendly bars and locals.
You'll have a blast of a time.
Hey Thank's guys, I feel better allready! I really am looking forward to it. I decided on Bulgaria as it is described as a good place to learn for my Wife and Daughter, I am a red runner and the odd black, but not the tunnel in alp de huez,im not that brave, im just the wrong side of 40!!!the bottle has gone!...ish!
Nige,
You sound the same as my situation a few years back.
Our first family skiing was in Borovets.
It was a bad time for snow but we just about got away with it.
On the whole though we thought Borovets was a great place. Best thing is the Bulgarian people. Very friendly and hospitable.
