Hoch Fugan in Austria 4 years ago, I had been sampling the homemade shnaps the night before, and I took a turn to the left on a very easy slope turned too far fell into the mountain and broke my coller bone in 3 places. I was air lifted off. Thank Christ for insurance
Only time ive been in a helicopter, back in 1985, Ski testing for a company. Crashed and burnt big style at Cairngorm (trying to be clever, and impressing the ladies, not wearing a helmet, and having too much beer the night before!).
Lost it on sheet ice (again on a run that had been clearly marked caution, experienced skiers only, that did not include experienced skiers doing 65mph!)
Smashed my jaw in two places, ended up unconcious in Inverness hospital after being lifted by air, and ...

Smashed my jaw in two places, ended up unconcious in Inverness hospital after being lifted by air, and very bruised and lucky to be alive!
Two weeks later when I got out of hospital, straight on the snow again, same run, but with helmet and a little more caution!
2000 in Pas Dela Casa.
Just finished 4 days of lessons and thought I had the basics of boarding. Hit the fall line and lost control, straightlined it down the piste and caught a edge. Went head over heels for what seemed and eternity. Thought I'd stopped. The carried on again. Finally stopped and my left ankle just clicked.
That was me limping for 8 months. But I got the bug, booked for round 2 (2001) as soon as I got back. Just glad I'd had a taste of how good boarding is before this ...

2005 in Avoriaz, France. Forward somersault, landed on pole and broke a rib. Didn't know it was broken and skiied for 3 more days in agony but, as a beginner, thinking that was what skiing must be all about. It's a wonder I ever did it again but, of course, I can't you know what for this year in Bansko. Bring it on!!
Banff, canada, coming off the chairlift (bad enough on a snowboard), 2 skiers standing right on my exit path putting their gloves on and chatting away, tried to avoid mowing them down but of course could't steer the board properly with my my back foot out, caught an edge and wen down. Think my arm hit against the edge of my board, couldn't feel it for about 10 minutes, made it back down the run but couldn't dry my hair or put tops onn/off properly for the rest of the week, had one of those ...

Kamikazi - you forgot to mention your trip to Llandudno hospital!!!
