as far as I know the celebrations end on Sunday 5th so all the bulgarians will more than likely have gone home Sunday night, which is good as I go on the 4th, mind you it cant be as busy say Christmas or New or kids holidays this week - hope not.....re: ???

The "Martinitsa" is a tassel made of red and white threads, the red thread is a wish for long life and the white is a wish for happiness.

Still got mine from lat year, dont know what a swallow looks like anyway
I was there last year at this time and the slopes were busy, BUT dont forget the prices have been levelled this year What was a bit differant was the party down in the town of Samakov......but thats another story re: ???
