going to boro in jan and was wondering if anybody could give me an idea of the prices of drinks in the bars, ski-bars, nightclubs etc.
I am sure there are cheap and expensive places as there are evrywhere but an idea of how cheap the cheap bars are and how expensive the hi end gets would be a great help...
We didnt normally look at the prices we paid but happy hours in the Alpina is really good, then in the bars later on i think it was normally about 5/6 levs for say jack daniels ( prob local) and coke but you get offers 2 for 1 all the time its really not expensive at all. You will love it.
Prices range fair bit on the Slopes I paid 5 lev for a bottle of Kaminitza/Zagorka which given location I had no issue paying & had more than one
In th Supermarket its c1.50 lev for a 2-3ltr bottle of beer.
Mehanas - I have found places in Bansko which cost 0.80 lev up to 2.5lev, most however are around the 1-1.80lev an given exchange rate is 2.25lev:£1 that means your talking about a range of £0.44-0.80 generally or on the slopes your paying £2.22.
I know for sure that in the ...

I know for sure that in the Dolomites even in the bars a glass of beer is 6 Euros.. which is £5.21 - Slopes prices were MUCH higher than this...
thanks, so the slopes seem to be around £5 per pint is that typical for borovets? not too bad considering you can't really want to drink that much an ski... unless you want broken legs!
thanks for the info...
can any1 recommend any good bars... there is about 10-15 lads goin in jan first time there so was wondering if there are different parts to go out at night or is it pretty centralised to one area?
Hi Ryan
Borovets is compact and all the bars are within five minutes walk of each other and they all have different atmospheres. Some are good for food some for music etc so you should be able to wander round and find a good choice that suits you. also that way you can follow the happy hours for the cheap drinks.

For someone who spends all night in the bars your one to talk about other peoples drinking.
