re: any snow in borovets ?

Am going out to Boro March 7th and been told there will def be snow higher up. Looking at the webcam opposite the Rila , conditions look better than they were when I went in Jan. It's open, and I hope will be a great week next week!

Last week was fab sking with all slopes open most of the time. On the top was over 3 metres of snow, although I didn't take a measuring stick to be more precise. The Musala pathway was great apart from one little patchy bit under the trees, so a good point to get your breath back.

The snow cannons were working most nights and those who went off piste were stretched and ended up with burning thighs Exclamation But loved it.

From the amount of snow on the top, even with no further falls, the locals are confident there will be skiing on the top well into April. The lower slopes will get patchy and slushy as temperatures rise into March but we usually go the last week of March and often have had a heavy snow fall then, enough to be able to ski lower slopes too.

Depending on what happens this week, I think you'll be able to ski most slopes when you go, although some lower exposed slopes maybe tricky.

Hope this helps and you all have a great timeVery Happy Very Happy
