I would find somewhere else just arrived back and lower slopes in very poor condition very icy and patchy with grass and rocks uncovered to the point of being dangerous half the runs are closed although they will say there open. Don't trust any of the snow reports as none of the info is accurate. Stay away from borovets!!!

re: any snow in borovets ?

Just got back from Borovets yesterday. Had snow on Friday night and went out for last ski on saturday morning which was lovely. Temperatures during the day mean that any new is melting pretty quickly though. They were expecting more and up at the top of the gondola there are good conditions. Black run from 4 man chair was closed most of the week but all Red were open which are challenging enough for me.

???As I say we arrived back yesterday and most runs were open. Even lower slopes were on the whole okay with patchy areas but these were avoidable I found.

even though people say that if your on the first floor right outside the kareoke bar its not that loud. at the end of the week you get a certificate if you get class c thats the highest. one of the dogs bit me and my friend on the arm it didnt hurt but be warned. there are lots of beggars on the street they wont pinch stuff of you they will just ask for money. your better of buying clothes over there because its cheaper there, i bought a billabong jumper and it was 30leves, baisically thats £15 here. when i went last week the floor was very icy.
