The wife and I have stopped flying BA for this very reason if not on principle even it does mean that we don't get the flight times and dates that we originally wanted. Not worth the hassle or the risk I reckon.
Who in their right mind would take a 30% cut in pay. Its Willie Wally Walsh and his management that are to blame. I feel sorry for the cabin crew and fully support their strike action. Its refreshing to see a union going on a propper strike and not just the odd token day every other week.
Power to the cabin crew!
A lot of people in the town I live have had to take a pay cut and a lot have lost their jobs. Now because of this action they may have their holidays ruined.

Gutted. Had flights booked 7 months ago with BA on basis of service and slightly less likely to go bust. Can't book alternatives even if could aford it because don't know whether Sofia flights have been cancelled yet. This dispute has been ongoig for a long time, how cynical is it to time the strike at Christmas so it has most impact. People will not fly BA again and ultimately these people will lose their jobs. It is crazy. Will have to stay in UK and just watch the snow on the webcams! ...
