Great heads up Heidi.

Everyone is fully intitled to their view as long as you don't try to push it on other people (which you didn't)and keep it as your experience.

I think your post would be helpful. Take any negitive coments on the chin and try some other places next time.

I don't use this forum much but do read it from time to time and I find the posters who are pro bulgaria are often as negitive as those who don't like bulgaria.

One day people will learn that it's all about sking and having your own good time and be dammed what anybody else thinks.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bangs head in utter utter frustration!!!! Why is it that when you ask a question of a poster to clarify a point you get some idiots trying to stir things up.

Heidi let me clarify your posting reads and I quote"we found a fantastic place called victorias.its soooo cheap compared to everywhere else and is cheaper then pizza express (12 of us had dinner-starters and main and 3 drinks each and it came to 310lev-about £155!!)and the food is really really good and good portions!!loadsa choices too"

Now of course this is not a problem posting a restaurant recommendation it is indeed welcome. My question was in response to your statement that it was soooo cheap compared to everywhere else. This would suggest to me that you had tried a few places ie Mehanas and found the Victoria to be the cheapest, which is why I asked had you tried any of the places in the old town? Nothing wrong in that just wanted clarification that's all.

Sadly we have people on here that like to try and make mountains out of molehills and see problems where their are none.

I was not refering to you Dan. I thought your post was just asking a question so I hope you were not refering to me as an idiot when I was defending someone for trying to make a useful post.

Anyway I agree with Steve re Nicks comments. Those here that know me know I'm based in the Chamonix Valley most of the winter supplying shops with skis in France. Nick...you'll get more variety of skiing in Tignes mate but it won't be cheaper unless you go self catering and buy you food in the UK and drive across. Beer in my local is €7 a pint or my regular €9 for a picher. (€1.20 bottles of wine work a treat from superU)

Skis and boards are stolen all over the world. It's a fact and only way it'll stop is making it harder for the theiving bastards to do it.

If people don't like bulgaria...fine but there is no need to post saying its crap. Just take your hard earned money else where and don't post it on a bulgaria forum.

Those who love Bulgaria....don't be insulted if people claim not to like Bulgaria. If someone wants to ski in other countries so be it there are many great ski resorts that should be tried by all around the world and it means more space in bulgaria for you.

Skiing and snowboarding are individual sports. They're about giving the individual their own experience no matter what country you're in and it's important to remeber a bad day in the mountains is better than a good day in the office.

Kim - It wasnt my response to Heidi that made her feel the way she did. Read her subsequent post detailing how she felt!

I simply recognised her frustration in the way posts had initially responded to her. Had you all initialy responded as you have now done then perhaps her feelings would have been different. Seems like 'sdhutting the gate once the horse has bolted'!

I will simply say that if encouraging a farer and friendlier response for genuine posts is being a troll and stiring up trouble then you should get over yourself. I will continue to air my opinion, regardless of those who are hell bent on trying to force out or belittle those who try to air a personal opinion!

but what i would like to say is that im assuming we are all grown ups and surely you agree that this has gone on for too long and too far.its a joke!!

can we all just let this drop now as nothing else can be said unless one is trying to be personal and thats really not needed over a comment on somewhere nice to eat!!!

this site is a lovely idea for people who have never been to bulgaria so lets not ruin their opinions of the type of people that visit there by our pettiness!!
