hello So did anyone else feel suicidal/homicidal re: the lack of orginasition at bansko ski resort. I woke with dred every morning at the thought of having to queue to get on to the gondalas and also at having to encounter the ticketing staff at the resort. I have never expereienced anything as unfriendly and frustrating on a holiday as being in BAnsko and would say to anyone DONT GO TO BANSKO!
What was the problem with tickets? And queue for the gondala? What time were you going up on the slopes? We have been for the last 2 years and have had no probs with unfriendly staff or probs at gondala. We go on 21st so would like to know what the probs are before we get there! Please elaborate,Cheers
sounds awful we are taking 6 childen ages 8 and 10 and none of them ski yet. Do the schools end up queueing or do they push in??? Also what happens when you get to resort about collecting equipment etc. We get there saturday evening and start lessons on sunday morning but I am wondering how easy it is or do they miss lesson 1??? Help your posting has just dulled my holiday...
We have just had the busiest weeks of the season with christmas and new year.
Both the queues for tickets and the gondola were bad but I think thats the case in most ski resorts during these peak weeks
If you are coming with a tour operator you will be given your lift pass when you get to resort, and as for the gondola queues things will get quieter now as there are not as many people on holiday
sorry I don't know anything about how the ski school is run

Then going up on the gondala at about 9:30-10am every day and coming down 4pm took no more than a few minutes, it was a bit of a crush with everyone funnelling in but I can't say it was aggressive, and we didn't detect any probs with the staff. We had kids 6, 11 & 14yrs no problem for them either. I'll happily swap places with ...
