There are long queues for the gondala this week. I gave up yesterday and got there at 8.00 this morning, but still never got up the mountain until 10.30.

Decided to pay 10 lev to a guy to take me up the mountain yesterday. Didnt mind paying it to avoid the queue as it was immense, we did get a near death experience thrown in for free too so wasn't wasted money

We have paid to taxi up the mountain twice now both times were 10 lev each. Once was a mini bus that held about 8 people. Had to wait 10 minutes until that was full before he took us up there. The second time was in the most rickety people carrier I have ever seen he wanted 30 lev for both of us be we haggled down to 20 for both. There is a gondola taxi signpost in the main car park. The drivers ...
