Bansko. The building site!!!! it makes me laugh sometimes. Everyone wants new hotels & apartments otherwise they moan about the standard of the old, tired & communist style accommodation. If anyone knows how to click their fingers & have these new properties built please let me know so I can I start my own construction company. Que's at the Gondola when its half term & the busiest time of the season. Heavens above, all those families should stop going then!!!!! & finally I'm sure the Welsh & the Scottish drink the same amount as the English & other holidaying Europeans.

For those that read this site for information regarding Bulgaria & her resorts must remember that its only the individuals opinion & you must experience it yourself to make your own mind up. (Thats my opinion!!!!!!)

Some good points there Dan, but I think your kicking the backside out of Bansko building site subject and your attempt to defend it. I think any sensible person would admitted that the build going on in Bansko is out of control and that the local infrastruction cannot cope.
I think a potentially cracking little resort has been ruin by the over development, also as I said in a previous post some developments have been abandoned half build apartment blocks as there are no buyers.
I have always back Bansko to the hilt but I think the heart and sole has been wripped out of the town buy greedy developers.
Bansko is losing any charm that it had.
