Marks & Spencers have usually given quite a good rate in the past. The rate today is 1.9564.

Post Office are offering 1.9538.

Not alot in it in any of them really - all I know is it's flipping low!!

So around 1.95 then if bought in England - how does this compare to buying it over there? and where is the best place in Bansko to buy currency?

No.1 Currency are the best I have been able to find. 1.968 is the rate today, not much of a difference from the rest but they do not charge you comission which most of the others do.

re: best lev rate in the UK?

I got 1.996 from travel care, tesco online were 1.993 but travel care said they would beat any quote and no comission, so quite happy with that.

re: best lev rate in the UK?

Phil - if you have a Nationwide account you can withdraw from the ATMs with no charge and may get a slightly better rate otherwise - with the way it is sliding - there is not a lot difference now buying here or there. Sadly.

I ended up with a load left from last year - perhaps I should start selling them on the black market - oh no, silly me - I will need them in March Razz Booze
