been to pamps and bansko. if your looking for more of a lads week then i would rate bansko over pamps, also bansko is more of a modern resort weras pamps could do with being updated. bansko wins it for me
bansko is better for skiing than pamps I am with dan on the board bit in pamps if you can ski well pamps will soon bore you in fact bansko is restictive for an experienced skier but would keep you happy
if I had to choose only from BG resorts then : Boro Bansko and Pamp at the tail(Lived in all of them).if I had to choose not only from Bg places , well I will choose very wisely.
Gents,
I am thinking about planning a ski trip to Bularia, sometime this season in Jan '08 and/or Mar '08. Because I am from USA I know very little about any resorts in Bularia. However, my ski level is advance...so my question is simple were shall I ski in Bularia?
I'm also interested in good and reasonable places to stay, dine, and drink while their. I very much would enjoy staying away from tourist places, in order to enjoy the culture and cusine.
Thank's very much...
JT I would head for Bansko or Borovets more slopes but do not expect US style miles and miles of slopes and dont expect good old US customer service!!!!
You will ski either resort out quickly in a week so it might be worth seeking out a guide to take you off pieste.
Sounds like I need to book me a week in Borovets when the Mrs sorts her skills out... As it would seem from all the feedback Boro is the place to go out of the lot. JT, I would take an open mind to BG if you do go, cos if your used to the US scene, it might be a bit of a different kettle of fish all together!!! although you can get drunk quicker for a quarter of the price!!!!! which is always a bonus...
