re: best resort?

depends what you want, been Bansko & Pamps, for me, everytime Pamps, even if you are a top skier, you won't get bored there for a week. Bansko is completely different, and has more runs, but it takes 20min lift to get to the bottom of the slopes, then another 10-15 to the top of the mountain.. Bansko is a big place, Pamp's is small place where everyone is really friendly. 10 mins ya at the top, loads of lovely restaraunts dotted around the slopes, unlike Bansko. re: best resort?

Have to disagree with Rich slightly. I think any top skier of half decent skier would get bored in Pamps after a day let alone a week!! I love the place and go like most people because of that not because it offers fantastic skiing, on that score Bansko is better.

re: best resort?

Hmm yeah see what your saying, but as I mentioned depends what you want... I just love going top to bottom down every run 2wice a day, can't wait till they open up the other side of the mountain, then it will be class. Bansko was a let down due to the snow.. But I did like the runs spec red's & the park, I just take the Mrs to Pamp's as she's still learning, so its good for her. I think if pamps had a good park it would be a lot better. Have you been boro?? might give that a whirl 2009

re: best resort?

Not been to Boro Rich maybe one day!!! When and if the eventually open up Pamporovo and the surrounding area it could be a cracking resort as could all the Bulgaria resorts if done right. But you know just to be awkward I still prefer the Pamps that I remember in 98!! Hard to please are'nt I? Very Happy

Going to Boro for the 2nd time this season, have to say it's a top place, been to Pamps while it's a great place to ski,eat and drink,Boro has all of that and is much bigger,so you don't get so bored of the slopes...

Boro Bansko then last Pamp due to height and convenience plus challenging runs.for drinks-- you can have them anywhere UK USA UAE and anywhere in BG.
