boys aged 15 and 18 have brought blades has anyone got info about safety an any other tips pleasere: blades

sorry should have made it clearer(snow blades short skis I'm told) they asure me that they will be as safe ski-ing on them as skies. they have skifor four years also have manged part of the wall in pamps but worried blades are to quick and harder to control.Dave also agree knives should be kept for cutting food

My two lads have bought blades for our next trip (23 Dec). They hired blades last time in pamps and had great fun. My son says they are easier than skiing but everyone's different.re: blades
Seriously they look like great fun.I skied part of the wall as well then slid the rest of the way on my belly arse and back. That was fun as well

now they rock, and you keep your technical skiing ability which you lose with blades!

shazj, my mate taught me to ski on blades last year they seem to be a lot quicker to pick up and even though he can ski on long ski's he swears by them! we'll both be on blades when we are back in march!re: blades
trie blades last year on our last day in boro enjoyed them so much me and my mate bought our own for this year feb 4th 06 cant wait to try them out we found them a lot easier to use thogh they are quicker im sure they will be fine
