Have a look at the Hotel Banderitsa on the main road to the Gondola 5 minutes walk from the town centre. free courtesy minibus to lift station. eat in the bar, not the restaurant.
The Villa Roka Hotel is also good..very chic and modern
I find it to be Louise - though depends on when you are getting/how early you book flights etc. I kept an eye out for when the flights were released for March and booked myself and my son Gatwick to Sofia return via EasyJet for £170 all in. I find it to be Louise - though depends on when you are getting/how early you book flights etc. I kept an eye out for when the flights were released for March and booked myself and my son Gatwick to Sofia return via EasyJet for £170 all in. I then got an apartment in Bansko for £250. There are so many about there is plenty of choice. I get one that's in a complex with swim pool, spa etc, restaurant, and handily - is very near the gondola (the complex is just over the road from the Kempinski). I have my own boots and we don't do ski school though I may pay for my son to have some hours of private 1-1 tuition at some point. So it just a case of picking up some equipment - plenty on here to advice where best to get from, get your ski pass and off you go at the fraction of a package tour. This is particularly so for me because as a single Mum (though I know dona on here refers to getting deals in Boro) when in Bansko at a hotel I have always had to pay 2x adults and when we went to the Kemp - yikes!! I was all up for some 'pampering' but my son was ill most of the week and it was a total waste of money. After that and seeing where the apartment complex is so near to the Kemp I said "never again" to package!! (well skiing anyway).
