buying cigs at resort

Can anyone help, i intend to buy packs of 200 cigs at the resort, Borovets, can you get the well known UK
makes there or is it just Bulgarian cigs. If it is just local cigs, which are the best ones to get, how much would a 200 cost and how many would i be allowed to bring back into the UK.

yeah you can get uk cigs there but dont know much they cost sorry

Hi,

Asked in Duty free in Sofia last week, they advised limit has been increased to 800 cigs per person, i bought back 800, price was approx 19 euro per 200, local cigs were about 3.5 lev a 20 packet, sell all sort of uk cigs at airport think B & H i think were about 21 euro per 200 cigs

think u now can bring back 3200 from 1/1/10. seach previous listing cigs

the closest ive found were victory, B&H take&chance

So my best bet is to buy them at the airport on the way home, and i should be able to get B & H there for about 21 Lev.

check the price at sofia airport - on the way out (i.e arrivals) very small duty free shop - but very very good prices - on alcohol too - 10 EUR bottle of Absolute vodka -
