I took £400 last year to pamps and only ended up spending half of that! - result. Cheap beer rules!

Gonna get my LEV before I go from post office, make life easier.

I was in Pamps 2 year ago and drank/ate mostly in the White Hart. I didn't find it that cheap myself, vodka and coke was about 2 quid a go.... was i ripped off? ?

re: buying lev

Depends what you buy i imagine - local Karanitza beer was fairly cheap. fosters etc was lot more. Imagine mixers could be reasonabley priced but they tend to have larger measures

re: buying lev

we were in bansko last year and always went to this one pub, if you can call it that, we would buy 4 beers, 2 bottles of wine and some shots for roughly 7quid. I think we were the only english who ventured in there but they were really friendly, and by the end of the week they would just bring the drinks over before we asked. The pub was on the right hand side if you walk back from the main lift, not far from been opposite to the ice rink. well reccommended. & pamps, white heart is expensive ...

re: buying lev

Exchange rates in Resort are definitely better than you get here...
Eg at the moment its about
2.46 lev to the pound at the post office,
2.57 at M&S

and booked my skis and lesson at an exchange rate of 2.8 this week - in resort.

I spose for every hundred pounds thats only an average of about 30 lev in your pocket... which is a nice bottle of wine with dinner. Or a small donation to PPs cash collection for the kids.

re: buying lev

Which resort are you mojojo?
That sounds worse.
Oh I check the official changing rate today is 2,73 so no chnce to find somethign as 2,75 in hotel Pete. The pound loose worth against the lev. I had the same problem in Prague but with Euro two years ago was 1€ 31 cz crowns these time 26.

So may be you will find something around 2,65 to 2,60 but not more...
