Can you please help, we have been told that our daughter who will be 7 next year when we are planning to visit will have to go into ski kindergarden is this correct?
My kids had 7 year olds in their class and that was just a general kids group- ages ranged from 7-12. The kids did seem to have a very mixed response to the instructor though, my youngest got on very well having turned on the charm big style, the eldest who is very sensitive really wasn't happy, finding the approach too stern and unsympathetic. As a result we let them stay with us on the final day. They could have stayed with us all week as there were family groups, but regardless of the ...

We booked with Crystal as beginner ski for all of us and really it was our decision on the day as to how we worked it. Hope this helps.
My sons joined ski school from 6 at Borovets and were never the youngest. They did have some idea of how to ski (either dry slopes, kindergarten or 1-1). I've just booked ski packs at time of booking. In the resort, things are pretty relaxed and I've never been asked for proof of their age. They seem to know by looking if a child seems confident or has some ability.
Should have said, we were in Borovets. I think it was Borosport that we were with and the other downside apart from not being with the children was that the classes didn't co-ordinate. The kids finished at 3 and usually we were an hour later, so we always had to finish early to collect them. In retrospect, I do wish we had been in a family class, and personally unless it was a half day session only, that is certainly what I would go for in future.
