The other half has been moaning that she is going to miss EASTENDERS, does anyone know what english tv there is if any....Thank people

Only a few, usually BBC World News, Eurosport, VH1 (music) and a few other well viewed channels!
Bars and restaurants will mainly have football or music channels on. How's your German/Russian - loads of those channels.

Unfortunately Insider it is the 'McDonalds mentality' we all seem to live in these days. Eh by gum - I recall days of black and white telly, 3 channels and it switched off at midnight - oh my word - how would we cope these days! It's like folk who go abroad and the first question is "is there a McDonalds here" Why oh why people spend good money to travel abroad and then want what is on their doorstep has always been beyond me but there you go, each to their own. It's like folk who go abroad and the first question is "is there a McDonalds here" Why oh why people spend good money to travel abroad and then want what is on their doorstep has always been beyond me but there you go, each to their own. Personally having spent money to travel I like to engage in local culture, try local cuisine etc.

Absolutely Kim, that is the whole point of foreign travel. I also cannot believe that when a hotel advertises satellite tv the Brits complain that is not SKY!!I dont complain that I have no Bulgarian TV in London, or Banitsa and Boza for Breakfast!
