Hi
Try the White Magic just back and never had a bad meal in there and you don't have anyone trying to get you in and the price was ok.
Hope this helps
Came back from Boro last week. As some of you recommended in this forum before, I went to White Horse to try the Tripe Soup..... VERY NICE!!! And their salad with white cheese as well. Also they offered free wine which was not too bad.
Then I went to Katy's the following day, I wouldn't say it's the best steak obviously you can have much better steaks in London. The lady in Katy's told me Bulgarian didn't eat beef, I forgot to ask why though!

I wanted to try Green King but couldn't get a table even though it was about 930pm!! Seemed very popular. Then i went to Happy Duck instead, good atmosphere and friendly staff. However their food was too salty to me.
On the last night I went to Black Cat just for the Roasted Pork (you can't miss it when you walk pass!). I have to say the pork wasn't that nice but the tripe soup (I had it again!) was better than White Horse.
I think I have fallen in love with Bulgarian food :-)
The Blue is definitely the funkiest place in the resort, with ok food, friendly staff and resonable prices. It's like eating and drinking in a psychedelic gypsy caravan.
We found Katy's Pub opposite the Samokov Hotel on our last day and had the most fantastic breakfast. 4x eggs, 4x sausages, 4x rashers of bacon, beans, toast, orange juice and unlimited tea or coffee for under 10 lev. Really nice inside and run by the loveliest couple you'll ever ...
