Try The Salamander, next street up from the slope in front of the Rila. Family owned, really nice couple. Food very good and reasonably priced.

For breafast, lunch and evening meal I can recommend snackbar Joy. Great food, good place, nice people!!
Also pizza's, try the garlic pizza, it's delicious.
Joy is near the gondola!

The silver eagle - good selection of traditional food, well priced, good service.

The pines bar - at the bottom of the far left black run / opposite the express chair lift - the most welcoming crew around, very proud of their home made chips, and give complimentary hot ...

Enjoyed the whole week trying out lots of traditional local foods, and never the least bit disappointed. I'm vegetarian, hubby's true carnivore, and both of us ate really well.
