Understand completely John..... go to a resturant and have a bad meal, it's hard to be convinced to return for another.Pamporovo, like Borovets spreads it's arms and welcomes all people...........
it's man that decides to spit in it's face.
I sincerely hope you enjoy Austria, but you will give Bulgaria another chance one day.

John Csounds bad , i have spent an evening or 2 in that bar and met some really friendly people , seems you were just unlucky, the same sort of unlucky you could get in any pub/bar anywhere in the world, please try not to blame borovets.

We have also just returned from Borovets, we were also in the Happy Duck on Xmas Eve and yes I agree there were agroup of students singing and dancing on the tables, they did not bother us in any way shape or form they seemed to be having agreat time my husband and myself were quite envious and said o to be in your 20s again.
I dont know what time you were in there but we left at about 11pm
One of the chaps (Austrailian) had an interesting conversation with us, might I add that my parents ...

It was a great surprise when we arrived at the Hotel Moura to find out Club Slide was no longer there, in its place was the Bunny Bar! All I can say its not really Family orientated in certain locations!!!
