Brill Thanks for the info peps.
my misses reckons im so tight that when i get up in the morning i look under the bed to see if i have lost any weight during the night.
I fly the BG - UK trip nearly once a week and can confirm they do not take any food off you, only liquids. You can bring sausages, bacon, sandwiches, gravy - whatever you like in your hand luggage!! I'm not recommending you bring all that for the flight, but it's difficult to get certain things out here, so I tend to bring a few things back in my hand luggage each time!
pot noodle on a plane!? I can't stand the smell of them - so you would have had one vomitting passenger (and my youngest - she's the same as me) next to you if I'd been there! The smell is wayyyy too strong and artificial for me to stomach. Maybe sandwiches bought in the airport after security is the way to go. (Just in case there's anyone who is not British on board and can't stand the smell of pot noodles!)
Pot noodles are like marmite you either love them or hate them. I hate them and Arron loves them so I just hope he doesn't decide to take them on the plane. Good idea though and much cheaper than the stuff they serve up inflight, charging in excess of £2 for water is criminal!
