went to pamps last year for the first time ,weather was awful and no snow,so am going again early feb and was wondering what is available for the novice.
With good snow it is great.
Went as 1st time skier in 2006 and had a fab time, especially green from top to bottom (about 2.5kM), you will feel like a real skier!
Ideal for a novice as Simon has said. The green from top to bottom is a great run for getting your confidence up. Also the back blue is lovely and wide and great for practicing turns. You may well be suprised at how much you do ski by the end of the week.
My first ever snowboard holiday was to Pamporovo. For me it had everthing, good runs, the queues at lifts were not too huge, good weather and good runs. I appreciate that some of the above are beyond your control, but it is a great place. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
Went to Pamporovo in Jan 2005, and although ski conditions were not great we had a great instructor and really improved. Did those runs Dan and Simon have said many times - in some places sheet ice.
i would recommend highly Pamporovo to the base novice skiier.
hi guys, intresting to hear how great pamp`s
is. wife and i are going the first week in march
1st-8th first time too so were lookin forward
to some easy ski runs.lets hope theres lots of snow
I agree that the Blue run at the back 'could' be good for beginners but the problem is taching then to use the button lift and if you get too many beginners the queues can be awful!!!
