What gets me is that you can prebook your seats together, but yet you can still be separated by an aisle. Now I'm not all lovey dovey or anything, but I like him indoors sat next to me so I can lean on him!!

I went with Tompson and if you book in together they try to give you seats together so get to the check-in desks as early as you can!re: have you paid extra to sit together on airplane
Always check in with plenty of time to spare, gives me more time to waste my hard earned money in duty free! Have been lucky and got extra leg room seats for free several times by doing this - oh boy, probably just opened a can of worms with that now!!!

Que'd behind a woman with two kids at an airport one day. They refused to let her on the plane with two kids under age two.Of course I'm the last person in the queue, so she turns and asks me to take one of the kids on my lap!!!
Of course I obliged....spent the entire 2 hour flight with someone elses 3 month old child on my lap.
Hardly got a thank you!!!!

you don't need to check in extremly early at your UK airport, which means less stress with the kids, & less expense as airport prices are ever growing for a basic snack & drink.
On the way home there is no guarantee that you get to the resort airport before everyone else to check in early so you would always be worried about getting seats together.
The cons - The cost but nearly every charter airline charges nowadays & have done so for at least the ...
