The meal your given is a bread roll and a piece of ham and cheese and you make your own sandwiches with a plastic knife. The take off is terrifying, as is the landing but the sound of a British upperclass, well educated pilot over the intercom is very re-assuring.
Don't get me wrong, your holiday will be bloody brilliant, but you do feel like you've entered a different world.
