helemt in suitcase??

Hello all!!!,

off to Boro in on 9th Jan, firts time boarding can't wait!!!

we've all decided helemts are a must so the only headaches we'll have are from the beers

Was just wondering whats the best way to get them there?? if we put them in the suitcase i'd assume they'll get bashed around and that'd be no good for keeping the brain inside teh skull!!!

any advice????

Well i have been skiing once before and i took a helmet and put it in my suitcase. I made sure it fitted tight in my suitcase and put things like electricals insde to protect them

carry it on as hand luggage classes as a fragile item, if it gets smashed in the hold its no good.

Are you serious? A helmet as a fragile item? If it can't survive packed in your luggage its not going to do much good to your head when you hit a snowboarder at 50kph. What do you think these baggage handlers do anyway - sling your bags from the rooftops?

Saw quite a few people in Sofia airport last year with them fastened to their hand baggage - bit of a pain lugging it around though I would have thought.

Wear it and get a whole row on the plant to yourself
