holiday help

Hi I am new to this site, and quite new to skiing. I am looking to book a ski holiday and not sure which resort would suit best.1st I have only been on two ski holidays, so Im still a learner2nd we are taking a 9 yr old who has never skied and 3rd my partner is coming who can ski( black runs).We want to travel about March28 2007.Can any one suggest where the best snow and suitable resort would be? I like the sound of Borovets. Any advice would be greatful contact me on fran@mobile-tan.com

I believe Bansko is higher than pamps and Borovets (but I could be wrong) to go that time of year you need to probably go for the one with the highest mountains to ensure there is enough snow, you are not guarenteed snow at that time of year - although last year and the year before it was fine as far as I remember

Borovets or Pamporovo are brilliant confidence builders, whist Bansko mainly is a little trickier.

That time of year should be fine in either resort for snow.

That time of year you would be safer looking at Bansko as it is the highest resort.

Both Boro and Bansko go up to about 2600m with the highest runin Bulgaria being in Borovets. The lift system usually runs longer in Borovets as they work with the current snow conditions, whereas in Bansko its a specific open and close date. Borovets is a lot closer to the airport, and usually regarded as better for beginners.
There is enough to challenge your other half in both but if he like off piste Boro is a lot better
