honest answers and help needed

Hi,

I am currently doing a business plan for my hotel and would like some honest answers to the following questions. Your answers will help me a lot and i thank you in advance.

1. How much spending money would you take to a Bulgarian ski resort?

2. Would you ever consider a two week break?

3.What facilities would make the difference to your stay?

4. Do you think english staff are an advantage?

Thank you so much

Michelle

My Answers

1. Honestly about 700 pound for a week

2. Having done a 16 day holiday in Borovets in Feb i'd have to say wouldnt do 2 weeks in the same bulgarian resort.

3. Better food, better sevice, friendlier staff.

4. Possibly but you would have to pay them more.

Honest answers from Gogs

1. I never give myself a set amount, but the last couple of years my wife and myself have spent about £300-350 between us.

2. Skiing in Bulgaria is far to limited for 2 weeks, I'm afriad I'd get very bored.

3. Better infrastructure, better ski equipment and better service from staff.

4. Good training for local staff would do, I stayed in the Kempinski this year and I could see the difference in customer care from other establishments. I have read that ...

I have read that when the hotel first opened training staff were brought in from Germany to show the staff the standard that was expected. It certainly shows as the staff all walked around with smiles on their faces and they provided a good service.

1. Does this include accomodation, transfers, ski hire etc. Just done a week in Bansko all in (including flights) for around £750.00 per head.

2. No, maybe in the summer walking and doing day trips elsewhere.

3. Swimming pool.

4. No, staff just need to be pleasant and friendly

re: honest answers and help needed

1. If the food is good in the hotel £200 spending, if not £300.

2. 2 weeks - only if other activities available and ideally laundry facilities. 10 days is better.

3. swimming pool, cinema/film room for children, good security in hotel AND rooms

4. friendly, trustworthy, well trained staff of any nationality but with some English

re: honest answers and help needed

Hi,

1.If half board then this year i only took £170 for the week which was enough.

2. wouldn't do 2 weeks, 10 days would be ideal though

3. Swiming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, ski room and boot dryer

4. Does not need to be english but must have a good understanding of the language. The bulgarians are actualy very very helpful. 10/10 for doing everything to help.

re: honest answers and help needed

Michelle,

1. I would usually take between £250 - £300 for a week in Pamps, but if I buy accessories for my board, will withdraw more cash.

2. I do not think I would go to a bulgarian ski resort for two weeks.

3. A free spa with the hotel - not just the steam room, a decent sized tv in the room with more english channels.

4. The nationality of the staff does not make a difference, as long as I can communicate with them and they are not rude.
