Stayed in the Strazhite in 2006 and am going back there this weekend. It's a good hotel, the rooms were warm and reasonably well equipped. Never once used the shuttle bus. The fact that the gondola is only five mins walk away meant we had a nice walk to get us going in the morning.
The only problem was changing money at the front desk as it only changed money at certain imes

The food was pretty good, although if you are a veggie the range was quite limited (fairly common throughout at all ofthe resorts as far as I can tell) The breakfast is substantial enough to keep you going all day if need be. We also arrived late (and expect to this year), the hotel had a small bag of food for each of us which was very welcome.
If you do venture out for food, most of the mehanas are good. We had an interesting night in one where the live music kept tripping the electrics and so every five minutes the whole place was plunged into darkness - all adds to the fun.
The pool and spa were very nice and especially welcome after a day on the slopes. You get the occasional naked body so it may be an eye opener for kids if you are bringing any.
All in all, a good place to stay. Hope you enjoy it
