hotel recommendation Borovets please

Hi all knowledgable snow bunnies, as middle aged shredders, we are looking for, dare I ask quiet hotel, eatable food, near, as in under 1km to lifts in Borovets, any recommendations?

Also as Borovets virgins, snow conditions permitting are there any tasty areas of corduroy free snow for bit of off piste pleasure, areas of tree dodging to be had?

Don't say go to Bansko, we did, loved it past 2 years but looking for a cheaper option.

Going back to the Iglika palace in Feb for the 3rd year. Food eatable and it is only 5 mins walk from the gondola.

Yes,the Iglika

Stayed there twice last yr,warm friendly and half decent food..

Have stayed at the Lion Hotel, accomodation excellent, food ok. Lovely quite position but 10/15 min walk to gongola.

Staying at Flora apartments this year, quality accomodation, self catering but would always recommend eating out as food in all hotels not as good as restaurants.

Hiya, another Lion devotee, they do have a courtesy bus from about 9am until quite late in the day, takes less than 5 minutes. Hotel lovely and quiet, good atmosphere in the bar at night if you don't really fancy going out, food not too bad....

Another vote for the iglika.
We stayed there last Feb. Good food, comfortable rooms, warm, great location.
