how long do we think the season will last?

Dying to get back out to Bansko but looking at the end of march.. is this wishful thinking?

Better not be - I have friends coming out 22nd for a week. Its usually the best time of year. You run the risk of high temps but there is a lot more precipitation this time of year so the potential for magical sunny powder days is high. Go for it.

I think even Pamps will be just fine till the end of March, got back on Sunday and the bottoms were a little dodgy on the lowest two new slopes but everything else was fine

aslong as theres no rain I cant see there being many issues

As long as there is snow for Angie & Pete! They've had a crappy 9 months so lots of snow would be good. Wink

Just got back from Bansko and the snow is great. I'm wondering if I can get back this year - has anyone ever been at the start of April? I know they claim the season goes till the end of April, but as much as I love the place I'm not sure I trust them on that one.

I am struggling for the 4th April, looks near impossible, Balkan still go out until 29th March and they are cheap.

Going back to bansko 6 april with british airways very confident of snow conditions should def be able to ski up top was out for womens world cup so hopefully much smaller wait at gondola and less crowded slopes if not hit the bars worth taking a chance better than sitting at home looking at webcams.

borovets is full of snow but no tourists,, to many scared of crap snow... oh how wrong!!!! this year anyway Confused
