how many layers of clothing should i need to wear for the top of the mountain nursery slope in borovets, having never been skiing before or been to the top of a mountain in winter time i have no idea really how cold it is going to be.
You need a good base layer one that wicks away moisture is the best bet, failing that cotton t- shirt. Then a jumper/ fleece then your jacket. All this depends on how much you are likely to feel the cold. You can always take off a layer but a bit tricky to add one when you are up a mountain.
all i wear is a tee shirt and then me thick skiing coat, i always get too hot, even when its snowin, i have me gloves and hat on and neck warmer, but no layers really,
am always on the move tho, so if ya on da nursery slopes ya mite get abit cold takin it abit easier!
UMMMMMM!
Not seem that many nursery slopes at the top of mountains . Thats the pointy bit tends to be a bit steep for first timers.
Depending on how much time you spend on your ski's and how much onyourbumski (my cousin)
I wear a good set of thermals, a fleece and my jacket.
But for beginners I would...
Spend a bit more on thermals, good socks, a good pair of gloves and a hat.
You'll know after day one.
