Mark, i was just reading the BBC news and they are now saying that depending on where you change your money you will be doing well to get 1 Euro to the pound -- The example gien was £200 = 198 euros. This is very bad for us obviously and so with the Lev you will be doing very well to get TWO to the pound !!!!!!!!!

Sunday papers said 1 97 levs to the pound, it will be more expensive anywhere abroad this year. on the plus side there should be some bargains to be had if you shop around

Just checked M & S and they say 2.03 levs to pound & 1.03 euro to the pound.

Not so good for hols but needs must.

sorry, obvious error there. xe.com gives it at the sphincter puckering 2.18 this morning, which is actually better than it was.

united bulgarian bank are giving 2.17 today, monday

At present Raiffeisen Bank, Bulgaria is at 2.156 and falling.
