info needed please

Hi all,
i am going to borovets for my first ski/snowboard hol in january, i was wondering if it is possible to hire sallopettes jacket etc out there and if so does anyone have a rough estimate of the cost. I have found a place in England which hires everything for £70 amd was wondering how that compares.

You are much better to go to somewhere like TK Maxx and buy - I got a jacket for £40 and sallopettes for £30 - and the jacket you can use in the winter over here.

You could probably buy the stuff out there, but it's probably just as easy to buy it here - check out http://www.outdoormegastore.com for some good bargains too.

I agree with Judith, go to TK Maxx, as cheap as renting...

We are going skiing for our first time also, and have bought my kit from Tschibo, they had a promotion a couple of weeks ago. We also got a jacket from Makkro and salopetts from TK Maxx for my wife. The stock at TK Maxx keeps changing so if you don't find anything then keep looking a few days later. Try Matalan too.

Going to Boro on the 8th Jan and was in need for some new gear. I shopped at www.outdoormegastore.co.uk, well worth I try mate.

I am going to Borovets on 23rd January but I have been advised to buy all my gear there at the hotel Samokov because it is of good quality and cheaper also.
Can anyone tell me if this is true or not or is it best to buy here in England first and take them with me.

If you can get what you want in somewhere like TK Maxx or outdoor megastore, it's very heavily discounted as most of it is last years ranges.

Its probably as cheap to buy it here where you can take it back if things go wrong.
