I am going to Borovets on Sunday, wondering if I should buy sallopettes/jacket. I can rent for 25 euros, and can buy for around 100 pounds. I wont be able to get to TK Maxx before (well maybe Saturday afternoon, but it will be too late then), so I was wondering if I should rent, buy here or wait until I get out there.
Also, if I decide to buy at Borovets, where should I get them? I dont want to lose the first day by tryin to get cheap gear out there. What kind of prices should I be ...

I got my jacket from Tchibo last year - great for £25. Only thing is that now it has been washed several times it is far less waterproof but hey great value and now wear as an everyday coat.Also got items from Skiwear4less.com and Aldi. Aldi stuff is excellent value especially for the children but they only usually have it in stock for one week and when it's gone it's gone.

where is this tk max place, i live in east anglia but do not have a lot of time b4 we go as i play rugby at the weekends and work the rest, it might be just as well for me to hire this time round, we booked as a last minute thing, both of us have never been b4re: info needed please
You'll be hard pushed to; get up, have breakfast (about 8 ish), go to the welcome meeting where they hand out lift passes and kit hire tickets (9 ish), before meeting your instructor for ski school (about 10 ish), and also nip out to get hire clothesIf you miss the first lesson session, you'll have difficulty to find the class until the next day.
However you can buy cheap clothes out there, but not sure whether you could find time to buy them before you need them for your first lesson.
