my husband was well impressed with the system in bansko been to many all over europe and the states and this was one of the most modern he had seen. although couldnt understand why you needed to have your pic taken!

We were in Pamporovo feb 2006 and you kept our lift pass in your sleeve pocket and kind of waved it in front of the machines to get through - so NO you dont need one
