Confused

whats the best way to get to manchester airport from the north?
easiest looks to be the m6 then onto the m56 but all the maps (aa and multimap) are saying cut on to the m61 & m60...
Anyone know the best way?

No way you will road works round by the Trafford centre. M6 then M56 then just follow signs in to the airport.
